Oil on linen 12x16She was a great model for this challenge. And an interesting soul. Traveling, creating art, plunking down for a spell at various art communities. This second portrait gave her a little of the youth back that I had stolen from her in yesterday's portrait (see previous post).

Having a great time here. I'm kind of glad the cold weather is back so I don't miss the tulips in my garden....
Not being an artist, I thought there would be no way to redeem this painting. By the third picture I felt sorry for the poor model, that she would be depicted so. But the last one is so fabulous I now envy woman. She is beautiful. It makes me wish I could look at a person, place or thing and see as much beauty as the artist. Luckily, we can see that beauty in the finished work.

I have a vague memory or noting that I wanted to respond to your comments way back, but then phliffft. The sound of a note leaving the brain. I appreciate your comments on the colors and the expression.
