Two in a row
Apricot Quartet Study 6x6
More value and brush exercises. These were fun. Timed, fast, no fussing allowed. The lower right actually has a bit of Carol's help on the top of the fruit.
I'd heard you were at a week-long workshop. Bravo. Love the hues and brush strokes on this. (Wish I could sound like I know what I'm talking about.) Okay, I just like these. There.
:) Melanie, well done. You got the most important and the marginally important. Thank you! Which title did you end up with for your manuscript, BTW?
Celeste, thanks for your comment. Did I ever tell you that when I was in Portland in April, I ate at the restaurant where the painting of the coat was hanging? It was even more fabulous in person. (In the flesh? Live? I can't find the right expression.) and I loved the small one in the stairwell. Businessman's Breakfast? Made me sad for those who don't eat a healthful breakfast, though.
